D. Craig Allred, MD, is a Professor at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.

Dr. Allred received his medical degree from the University of Utah College of Medicine in Salt Lake City Utah. He completed his residency at University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, Connecticut where he also completed an immunopathology and surgical pathology fellowship.

Dr. Allred has authored or co-authored 205 manuscripts and book chapters, and he has given numerous presentations on breast cancer at various regional and national symposia. He is currently on the ASCO/CAP Guidelines Steering Committee for ER/PR Testing in Breast Cancer; External Advisory Committee at the University of Michigan and Mayo Clinic, Breast Cancer SPORE; he is on the Immunohistochemistry Committee, and College of American Pathologists (CAP).
